A Poem on Winter
Cool air touched my senses with glee
chilly breeze blew to chill the minds
colors gone dull for the eyes to droop
winter shot casting a novel spell;
Days shortened with dim sunlight
nights stretch for a long epoch
cold and darkness everywhere
creeps into the minds that I fear;
But the sight of snow alight
like pure, white crystals of diamonds
up in the horizon of mountains
drifted my moods and senses;
Snowflakes fall like bubbles of dreams
blanketing rivers, hills and valleys
foams of white bed cheers my minds
and drops of snow falls tickle my skins;
