SONY series of televisions are invariably worth their price and are trying constantly to maintain their standard. With the advent of high definition technologies, SONY developed its own in house brand BRAVIA that specializes in HD LCD TVs, projection TVs and other related products. We recently bought SONY BRAVIA 32EX720 3D LCD TV that is making us addicting with its high definition picture qualities. Watching 3D movies and videos wearing the 3D glasses really takes you to new landscapes and makes you feel their complete presence.

Features

1. 3D Feature

This feature ties the user completely to it with the clear picture and graphics entertainment. The 3D vision from blue-ray discs can be enjoyed by connecting it to a blue-ray player. The 3D glasses that come along-with the set are awesome and wonderful.

3D button

You can adjust the following settings by pressing this button on the remote control.

  • 3D Display
  • For switching between the 3D and 2D display mode.
  • 3D Depth Adjustment
  • 3D Glasses Brightness
  • 3D Format
  • Side-by-Side: For displaying 3D content in the Side-by-Side format. Selecting this displays two near-identical pictures side-by-side for 3D viewing.
  • Over-Under: For displaying 3D content in the Over-Under format. Selecting this displays two near-identical pictures one above the other for 3D viewing.

2. Presence Sensor

This unit effectively minimizes power consumption by automatically turning off the picture when no one is present in the vicinity of the TV set.The Presence Sensor is capable of detecting vertical and horizontal movements. It may not detect forward/backward movements to/from the TV set. Lengthy and spontaneous movements are easily detected, even if it’s relatively far distant. The sensitivity of the sensor can vary considerably depending on ambient light and temperature.

3. Bravia internet video

BRAVIA Internet Video serves as a gateway to the internet content that hosts a ton of on-demand entertainment, straight from your TV. Now you can watch your favorite movies and videos from YouTube sitting in your living room on the big screen of Sony Bravia. Get connected to your friends through social media websites such as Skype, Twitter and Facebook straight from your TV and feel the difference! All that you need is a broadband internet connection only.

4. Wireless LAN ready

This feature provides a built-in wireless network connection for your TV by inserting a USB Wireless LAN Adapter into your TV’s USB port. Wireless LAN Ready lets you create a cable free network for internet with the USB Wireless LAN Adapter. The adapter is an optional accessory, which you’ve to buy separate.

5. X-Reality™ Picture Engine

Sony’s advanced image processing engine filters and processes pictures to produce optimum color, contrast and brightness. The 1080p lifelike pictures are a great visual treat that cannot be enjoyed from watching low-resolution devices. Sony’s Intelligent Image Enhancer analyses the signal depending upon its texture, outline, contrast, and color and the resultant picture is a highly defined quality one.

6. Control for HDMI

The SONY bravia sync function allows this television to connect to any other SONY equipment that incorporates the “Control for HDMI”.

When a Sony A/V receiver with Control for HDMI is connected to this TV, the following operations are possible.

  • Switching on the A/V receiver when the TV is switched on.
  • Automatically switching to the audio output of the A/V receiver’s attached speakers.
  • Adjusting the volume of the A/V receiver with the TV’s remote control.

7. Skype Ready

Using this feature, peers can communicate through videos and voice calls from this TV over internet protocol.

8. Track ID/music or video search

The feature Track ID searches for information about music heard from your TV. You can obtain information about music played on the current program, external input, connected USB storage device, etc.

You can also search for information about other music by entering a keyword such as track title, album name or artist name. Video search gives you details about videos by scanning the entire database based on a keyword.

SONY BRAVIA 32EX720 HDTV has changed all the conventional forms and can be called as a new generation TV. With these many additional features, this TV is a perfect entertainer inside the home that transforms your life into a terrific new.

Do you've Sony Bravia in your home? What's your insight about it?
